Body Performance has had a huge impact in my life by giving me confidence and strength when I needed it the most. With being new to the fitness world, the coaches taught me proper form and technique to be successful and injury free in the workouts. The coaches were there to push me and guide me when I wanted to give up. I slowly saw the strength and confidence grow in me with each workout. My smile has grown so big, along with my heart. The coaches and women at Body Performance offer so much support for one another, it keeps me coming back for more. We build strength together. Go team BP! “

BP has impacted my fitness routine by giving me consistency and variety. I was not a fan of "lifing weights" but knew it was something I should have in my fitness routine. Coming to BP has helped me keep a twice-a-week commitment for the past two years. I love BP's flexibility. If I can't make my regular weekly classes, it's no problem to swap days or go to a few extra classes the next week. Because I'm a regular, I've seen results. I've toned up, increased strength, gained muscle and (gasp!) started to enjoy working out with weights. I've also really enjoyed getting to know the coaches and clients and the camaraderie in class. My BP coach Lisa has supported my progress by challenging me to keep pushing and increase my strength. All while being mindful of a few minor injuries I have. She is always able to show me an alternative or modification to keep me safe while working out. All of the coaches are highly qualified and are incredibly knowledgeable. I also love the variety with our classes – it’s never the same class twice. Finally, the ladies I work out with inspire me every time. There's a big mix in our classes: ages (from 30 to 70!), abilities, stages of life. I'm amazed by these badass ladies every week!

I found BP right after I turned 40 years old and hadn’t really exercised regular since my twenties. A back injury prompted me to seek out a program that would help me strengthen my core so I wouldn’t injure myself again but what I found in BP was so much more! I worked with Beth Dolce until I was able to join the group sessions where they work on strength training using a variety of techniques. Weight training seemed like a daunting form of exercise at the time but the coaches I discovered at BP talked me through each exercise, provided me with feedback and encouragement each and every session, until I started to finally develop some confidence. Beth, Lisa, Shelby, Heidi, and Makayla all bring their unique personalities to the class sessions and I can honestly say I love each of them so much! Without their support, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to keep coming back to the gym, to try that heavier weight, or to truly transform my body. Sure, it’s great to say that I lost around 20 pounds, but more importantly, I gained muscle and confidence in myself. The sense of community that the coaches has cultivated is incredible. Everyone is encouraging of one another and the BP coaches are not afraid to challenge you so that you see the results you want. They take the time to talk through your goals and will help you create a plan, including nutrition, to accomplish those goals. They create challenges throughout the year to keep you motivated and are great about checking in with you. I’ve worked with each of the BP coaches and I couldn’t ask for a better group of women to guide my fitness journey.

Before BP I had literally never lifted a weight and had never been taught proper form for any exercise. Now I can lift weights and do dozens of exercises properly. How have the coaches supported your progress? There is no pressure in the classes. Everyone does the same workouts to their own abilities while being encouraged to progress. There's no shame if you need to do an easier form of an exercise. If Heidi thinks I can do more weight she will say "I think you can go up." It has never been "Why aren't you lifting heavier" or "I can't believe you aren't better at this yet.

Joining BP has been one of my best decisions! The group classes are kept small (no larger than 8) to allow for individualized attention. This insures each member not only performs the exercises properly, but that the routine is modified for each person’s ability to prevent injury. This was particularly important to me because when I joined in 2016, at age 62, I had been on a 10-year hiatus from any type of physical activity. I view it as personal training at a fraction of the cost. The classes are fun, the atmosphere positive and the coaches have a wealth of experience and knowledge to support you on your journey whether your focus is on strength, weight-loss, or general well-being.
